A facsimile of the second edition, published by Robert Sayer, London, [1764 or 1765]. Made from a copy belonging to the Chippendale Society. Genteel houshold furniture in the present taste. By a society of upholsterers, cabinet-makers, etc. Containing upwards of 350 designs in four parts. This volume is one of the few eighteenth century furniture pattern books never to have been reprinted in modern times. The reason for this is undoubtedly its great rarity.
