What condition are your books in ?

Everything is fully described. We certainly don't sell books that we wouldn't want on our own shelves at home, which seems like a good criteria to meet. Occasionally older books (usually 100+ years) will be more worn, but again they are very fully described.

How can I pay ?

Forms of Payment: We accept most major credit cards via Paypal. Cheques in UK pounds, or £ or $ cash. (No Money Orders).

The ideal method to reach us is by e-mail, as that way we can physically check the availability of any books, or prepare any answers for you properly, without keeping you holding on the phone.

How will my books be sent ?

Within the UK we send everything by second class mail unless the customer requires first. It is our experience that within the UK, second class arrives just as quickly. To Europe, the USA, Canada, and everywhere else in the world we post by Airmail unless Surface is requested. Our postage rates are amongst the lowest in the business, but our delivery rates are amongst the quickest in the business.

Will they be safely packed ?

Yes, every order large or small is treated with the same care and attention.

Do you give a guarantee ?

Of course. We want you to be happy. Very happy. If you don't like the book when it arrives, just let us know, and arrange to send it back. We'll cheerfully refund your purchase price. Just remember to pack as well as we do, and get a proof of postage of course. However, we don't think you will need to return anything from our stocks, as we said above we do take trouble to describe well, pack well, and ship to you promptly.

Do you keep all my details private ?

Always. We do not share our customer lists with anyone, ever.

How often do you add new books to your sites ?

Practicaly every day, so it's worth looking regularly.

Do you offer a trade / educators discount?

Trade / educators 10 % discount is available only on purchases over £50. 
Discount will be added later to known trade and orders delivered to educational establishments.
